The National Institute of Technology Hamirpur commenced its annual cultural festival, Hillfair, with a splendid inauguration ceremony on October 20, 2023. This three-day event marked the beginning of art, culture, and creativity.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of Prof. Hiralal Muralidhar Suryavanshi, Director of the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur, who also participated as the chief guest. The event began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the start of the festival.

On the first day of Hillfair, the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur showcased the rich diversity of talent within its community. Various clubs and cultural organizations presented unique performances, reflecting the dedication and passion of these groups.
The main attraction of the day was the magnificent performances by renowned artists Anurag Haladhar and DJ Cheshta. Their performances left the audience mesmerized, filling the atmosphere with enthusiasm, as students and guests danced to the tunes of their music.
With the resounding success of the first day, Hillfair prepares the stage for two more days of cultural vibrancy and excitement. Director Prof. Hiralal Muralidhar Suryavanshi stated, “This festival promises to be an unforgettable experience for all participants and attendees.”
