The Himachal Pradesh government has taken significant steps in establishing the State Selection Commission by appointing administrative officers to key positions. In the latest development, the government has appointed HAS officer Jitendra Sanjta from the 2007 batch as Administrative Officer in the Himachal Pradesh Chayan Aayog. This move follows the recent appointment of Dr. RK Pruthi, an IAS officer from the 2009 batch, as the Chief Administrator of the commission. Jitendra Sanjta’s appointment is being seen as a recognition of his outstanding work as ADM in Hamirpur, where he is currently serving. Along with his role as Administrative Officer in the State Selection Commission, he has also been assigned the additional responsibility of being the Additional Director at the Hamirpur Medical College. This development comes after Dr. Vikram Mahajan, the former ADM of Hamirpur Medical College, was transferred to the Fisheries Department in Bilaspur just a week ago. Besides his role as the Administrative Officer at the State Selection Commission (Rajya Chayan Aayog), Jitendra Sanjta will also retain his responsibilities as OSD of disbanded Subordinate selection board Hamirpur. It’s worth noting that this position was previously held by Anupam Thakur, an HAS officer from the 2013 batch, who served as the Registrar at the Himachal Pradesh Technical University in Hamirpur. Anupam Kumar has now been appointed as the Additional Director of Technical Education in the Sundarnagar district of Mandi.”
