Ajay Sharma, Chairman of the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC), has accused BJP leaders of engaging in petty politics over the land transfer issue of Radhasoami Charitable Hospital in Bhota. He termed this behavior as deeply unfortunate.

In a statement, Sharma emphasized that the state government is both sensitive and serious about resolving this issue. He highlighted that Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has taken swift and decisive steps to address the matter.

Ajay Sharma reiterated that the issue would be resolved only through the established legal process. To facilitate this, the Chief Minister has already initiated the necessary procedures to bring an ordinance or bill. Sharma also mentioned that the state government has decided to convene the Winter Session of the Legislative Assembly starting from December 18, which will pave the way for resolving the Radhasoami Charitable Hospital matter.

He appealed to those protesting against the issue to remain patient and not be influenced by misleading narratives. Sharma urged them to allow the legal process to take its course. He also requested the management of Radhasoami Charitable Hospital to await the outcome of this process.

Furthermore, Sharma criticized BJP leaders, accusing them of attempting to exploit the issue for political gains. He alleged that they are misleading people and inciting unnecessary protests, such as blocking national highways, to gain cheap publicity. In contrast, Chief Minister Sukhu is diligently exploring all viable options to ensure a permanent solution to the matter.
