Adding to the district’s glory, Government College Kanjan (Bhoranj) has also emerged as the top institution in its category, further solidifying Hamirpur’s position as a hub of learning and progress.

The rankings, released under the State Institutional Ranking Framework (SIRF) on Sunday evening, showcased Hamirpur College’s dominance as it outshined 141 colleges across the state. This accomplishment is particularly noteworthy as the college surpassed several older and larger institutions, proving that determination and innovation can lead to extraordinary success.

According to Principal Dr. Pramod Singh Patial, the college secured an exceptional 1019 out of 1100 points, evaluated on parameters such as academic quality, infrastructure, faculty expertise, and overall institutional performance. Earlier this month, the college also added another feather to its cap when its library ranked No. 1 in the Himachal Pradesh State Library Ranking.
