
CM Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Wins Hearts Across Himachal Pradesh
BJP leaders frustrated as CM fulfills key guarantees.
Under BJP rule, common citizens suffered while the government celebrated.

Ajay Sharma, Chairman of the Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee (APMC) in Hamirpur, declared that the upcoming celebration on December 11 in Bilaspur, marking the completion of two years under Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s leadership, will be a historic event.
In a statement, Sharma emphasized that the CM’s significant decisions in the interest of the state and its people have won the hearts of Himachalis. Within just two years, the Chief Minister has fulfilled five major promises from the Congress election manifesto, keeping his word while steering Himachal Pradesh towards prosperity and self-reliance.
Ajay Sharma highlighted that in his first cabinet meeting, the CM reinstated the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) for approximately 1.5 lakh government employees. Despite BJP leaders labeling OPS as unachievable, CM Sukhu extended its benefits not only to serving employees but also to those under the National Pension Scheme (NPS), securing their future along with new recruits.
He said Every eligible woman now receives ₹1,500 monthly, A ₹680 crore Startup Fund has been launched for unemployed youth. Thousands of vacancies across departments, including the education sector, are being filled.
Ajay Sharma said Himachal became the first state to declare a minimum support price (MSP) for buffalo and cow milk, as well as naturally cultivated crops. He Exceptional schemes have been introduced for the upliftment of orphaned children and women in distress.
Sharma praised CM Sukhu for creating policies that have positively impacted farmers, horticulturists, youth, women, and government employees alike. This inclusive approach has ensured widespread satisfaction, compelling people from every corner of the state to participate in the December 11 celebration.
Responding to BJP’s allegations of unfulfilled promises, Sharma pointed out that the implementation of OPS, the ₹1,500 assistance for women, the ₹680 crore Startup Fund, and thousands of job appointments have left BJP leaders frustrated. He accused them of attempting to mislead the public with baseless claims. However, Sharma stressed that the people of Himachal Pradesh are well aware of the CM’s developmental vision and have rejected BJP’s propaganda.
Sharply criticizing former minister Vikram Thakur, Sharma stated that during BJP’s tenure Jobs were sold instead of being earned on merit.Talented youth struggled for employment.Employees were forced to protest on the streets for OPS. Meanwhile, the BJP government spent lavishly on celebrations, ignoring the grievances of its citizens.
Ajay Sharma concluded by applauding CM Sukhu for taking immediate and impactful steps for the betterment of all sections of society, particularly the youth and employees. He said the Chief Minister has set a new benchmark in governance, ensuring that the people’s welfare remains the top priority.
