
Girls Dominate Merit List Yet Again – 15 Out of 22 Top Rankers Are Female Students

The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board, Dharamshala, has declared the Class 10 results, and once again, Hamirpur – the state’s most educated district – has made its mark! A remarkable 22 students from Hamirpur secured positions in the top 10 merit list, showcasing the district’s academic excellence.
Continuing last year’s trend, private schools outperformed government schools, with the majority of top rankers coming from private institutions. However, three students from government schools in Bhoranj Vidhan Sabha and one from Bijhari also made it to the merit list, proving that talent thrives in all settings.
Top Performers Who Made Hamirpur Proud
Akshara from Lakshmi Memorial Public School, Bhoti, secured 99% (693/700), clinching the 4th position in the state merit list.
Gargi Thakur from Him Academy Public School, Hiranagar, scored 98.86% (692/700), securing the 5th rank.
Kartik Singh Rana from Neelam Public School, Bihadu Bijhari, also achieved 98.86%, sharing the 5th position.
Isha (Lakshmi Memorial Public School, Bhoti) and Ankush Sharma (Shiksha Jyoti Senior Secondary School, Ruhan) scored 98.71% (691/700), securing the 6th rank.
Ipshita Bhardwaj, Diksha Kumari, Rahat Sharma, and Vikalp Vedi scored 98.57% (690/700), jointly securing the 7th position.
Several other bright minds, including Palak Sharma, Janvi, Rishi Raj Kewa, Kritika Thakur, Shreya Dhiman, Sapna Kathayal, Riddhima Dhiman, Nimitt Sharma, Simi Thakur, Priyanshi Shandil, Mukul Himalayan, and Akshita Thakur, secured ranks 8th to 10th with outstanding scores between 98.14% to 98.43%.
